Chinese smartphone maker Gionee, who reportedly filed for bankruptcy a couple of months ago, and steadily on the decline in a whimper has secretly launched the Gionee F205 Pro, a new budget smartphone in Indian market that seems to be a slightly upgraded version of last year’s Gionee F205, which was launched in India back in April.
Having seen off-industry issues skyrocket in the past year, a drastic loss in the market pool, and unarguably many expecting a point of no return for the Chinese smartphone giant, there might still be some tank left in the engine though.
Gionee F205 Pro Features and Specifications
The Gionee F205 Pro bears a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 720×1440 pixel screen resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio, a 2.5D curved glass and drawing power from 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739WW SoC along with 2GB of RAM.
Camera build is not so bad as there’s a single 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera has LED flash support and features Portrait Mode, Beautification, HDR, Scene Detection, and more. The front hosts a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
