Even in the whirlwind caused by big Hong-Kong Electronics company Huawei facing an imminent banned from using Android on their future smartphones, we still keep getting new smartphone launch each day.
Chinese consumer electronics company – Xiaomi has seen their stock and status in the mobile industry skyrocket in the past year with the release of the Redmi Note 7 and the different Mi devices and this year, the might be looking to take over the camera tech department from Oppo with the release of the Redmi K20 Pro.
The Redmi K20 Pro device is an amazing device which comes packs with flagship looking specs, a genius display design and…that Pop-up camera technique.
Redmi K20 Pro Overview
Although with no much buzz in Nigeria surrounding its launch, Xiaomi’s recent inquest in the Nigerian market has seen lots of advert placements featured all over the country and the hope is that in no time, the Redmi K20 Pro will be able to breach the gap between midrange and the flagship device choice.
The Redmi K20 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip processor sitting on top and the efficient Adreno 640 GPU for your gaming experience. A 6GB RAM and 64GB storage space erase all the need for an SD card.
The Redmi K20 Pro has a 6″ inch screen with 1080 x 2340 px (FHD+) display on the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which seems huge but so is the 48/8MP Sony IMX586 Exmor RS primary and secondary sensor all packing dual LED capabilities.

Redmi K20 Pro Design
You don’t need a helping hand to differentiate between a flagship-grade smartphone from a midrange but the Redmi K20 Pro design will leave you in a bewildered state as to which category it definitely falls in.
First off, the Redmi K20 comes in a glass est plastic design in its stride. A curved 3D glass body which houses all the usual smartphone elements; from the in-display fingerprint sensor, primary and secondary LED flashlight sensors, the headphone jack down to that pop-up camera at the very top.
On the front of the Redmi K20 Pro, there’s a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED notchless display which also houses a seventh generation in-display fingerprint scanner. With this expansive display, the K20 Pro gets a screen-to-body ratio of 91.9%.
